I’ve seen two separate podiatrists here for new issues and both were amazing — incredibly knowledgeable and able to clearly communicate the situation to a layperson! I’m very happy with this clinic.
I went for a gait analysis. The analysis is thorough and this is the main thing i was hoping for. These issues are complicated to understand. Prior to footworks i had not received a satisfactory diagnosis elsewhere so it was welcome to receive a detailed analysis from footworks.
I’ve needed a lifetime of help from custom orthotics, and this is the best of the best expertise internationally I’ve come across. From a customer care perspective, five stars. From a specialised knowledge perspective, five stars.

Louise Hahn has a first class honours degree in Podiatry and is the owner and founder of THE foot + body mechanic. Louise has a keen interest in sport, biomechanics and injury rehabilitation and has been Bristol City Football Team’s consultant podiatrist since the 2018/19 season. The Bath Road clinic is a family owned business and will soon be offering more podiatrist and complimentary health practitioner services. I have been to many different podiatrists all around Bristol/Bath and have never had a positive experience. My visit here was honestly refreshing. They were very thorough, had me walking on the treadmill to see how I move, they asked many questions and were kind and friendly while doing so. I would recommend THE Foot and Body Mechanic to anyone. Also a lovely clean modern clinic in a great location.
I had been suffering from knee pain for a while and I was advised to visit a podiatrist. Louise was great, she is very knowledgeable and identified my problem straight away. She built my insoles on the spot and after a few months I can say I am pain free.
Wonderful treatment from Louise! I have an old back injury that has caused me all sorts of problems over the years, and now I feel amazing. A combination of gait analysis, tailor made orthotic insoles, massage and acupuncture did the trick.

I have been a qualified Chiropodist / Podiatrist since October 2002 and have been working as a Chiropodist / Podiatrist ever since. I offer late evening clinics on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.  I offer a range of treatments from the simplest toenail cutting service, diabetic foot care, medical pedicures and routine podiatry care to complex nail surgery procedures under local anaesthetic. I have also previously worked within the National Health Service as a clinical manager in the Operating Theatres.

Brilliant. I had no idea what was wrong with one particular toe nail, but was convinced it had a fungal infection that didn’t respond to over the counter treatments!! Finally got round to booking (me delaying) and saw Phil has mainly 5* reviews.
